This site is a coming-soon product concept. Before accepting production signups, the operator must verify the contact details, database location, and retention policy below. These configuration items are marked TODO.
What we collect and why
If you join the waitlist, we store your email address, the time you gave consent, the consent text version, and a random unsubscribe token. We use your email only for Faah launch updates and early-access news. The Mac application is not available yet.
Where your information goes
The site and waitlist are designed to run on Cloudflare Pages and Cloudflare D1. Cloudflare processes hosting traffic and stores the waitlist database on our behalf. We do not sell your data.
For abuse prevention, we store a salted, hourly hash of your IP address with an attempt count. We do not store the raw IP in the waitlist database. Expired rate-limit records are removed on subsequent signup requests. Cloudflare may process network information under its own service policies.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics on faah.app to understand visits and website usage. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects usage, browser, device, and referral information. Google processes this information on our behalf. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled. We do not send waitlist email addresses or unsubscribe tokens to Google Analytics.

How long we keep it
Waitlist emails remain until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. TODO before public collection: confirm a maximum retention period if the product does not launch, database region, backup retention, and the operator's identity. We recommend reviewing and deleting inactive waitlist data after 12 months.
Unsubscribe or delete your information
Every launch email must include a working unsubscribe link. Confirming that link removes your record from the active waitlist database. We have built the unsubscribe endpoint; no campaign emails are sent by this website.

Before emails are sent
TODO: verify the operator's legal obligations and any international data transfer requirements, choose and disclose a campaign email processor, set up sender authentication, and test unsubscribe links. Marketing emails must not be sent until these steps are complete.
